There seems to have been a revolution in Russian music over the last 12 months. House and deep house in particular – genres that have traditionally been strong in the UK, Germany and Holland.
Does it seem odd to think of Russians as composers of dance music? Not particularly… Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Prokofiev anyone?
Also composers of world-class dance music 🙂 … and interestingly too, composers from a period following one dominated by Germanic influence.
